The community feedback is very important to us and for a while the most requested feature was a better way of manually placing supports. It’s certainly not an everyday choice, but in some circumstances, tree supports would be preferable. If, for example, you wanted to support the bottom point of a parabolic shape that’s above the surface of the print, and don’t want to print supports atop the object you’re printing.
